Who will I actually be working with?
I’m Dan Welch, and I handle the strategy and most of the hands-on work myself. I have a design degree and nearly two decades of industry experience. When a project needs extra help, like copywriting, photography, marketing, or development, I bring in people I’ve worked with and trust. You always deal directly with me, and I stay responsible for the whole thing. You’ll never get a random subcontractor.

Are you really based in Maine?
Yes. I was born and raised here, left for college, and came back to raise my family. I work with businesses across the U.S., but I focus on helping local Maine businesses. When they do well, the whole area benefits.
How does AI change how customers find me?
More and more, customers simply ask ChatGPT or Google’s AI for a recommendation. We make sure your business shows up there with accurate, helpful information, so you don’t get missed.
I already have a website. Do I need a new one?
Not always. Sometimes you only need a better structure, more accurate listings, or a faster site. We’ll always be honest about what’s actually needed.
How much does this actually cost?
Websites start at $3,500. Branding starts at $249. Visibility plans start at $299 per month. Site care starts at $99 per month, or $149 per month with edits included. If you skip the monthly plan, an annual checkup is $250 per year. Custom builds start at $500. There are no hidden fees or surprise invoices.
What if I don’t know what I need yet?
That’s completely normal. That’s why we offer a free visibility audit. We’ll show you how your business appears online in search, AI assistants, and reviews, and point out what we’d fix first. There’s no sales pitch or obligation, so you’ll know what matters before you spend anything.

Am I locked into a contract?
We don’t use long-term contracts. If you’re not seeing results, you can leave whenever you want.
Who owns the website when it’s done?
You do. Every site we build is yours, and you’re free to take it with you if you ever want to move on.
How projects work
How long does a new website take?
Most websites launch in 4–6 weeks. The timeline depends on how much content there is and how much back-and-forth we need.
Who writes the content and provides the photos?
We work on it together. We’ll draft the copy based on a conversation with you or your notes. You won’t have to write long essays about your business. Photos usually come from you, but if you don’t have any you like, I’ll bring in a local photographer I’ve worked with. Real photos of your business are always better than stock images.
Can I update the website myself?
If you want to update the site yourself, we can set that up. Most clients prefer to send us changes instead. The Site care + edits plan includes an hour of edits each month with priority turnaround.
How do payments work?
Website projects are paid in three parts: one at the start, one in the middle, and one at launch. Monthly services are billed each month, and there’s no long-term contract.
What do the site care plans cover?
Site care ($99/month) covers Netlify Pro hosting, uptime and security monitoring, software updates, and a monthly traffic & site health report. Site care + edits ($149/month) adds an hour of edits each month, priority turnaround, and a yearly review. If you skip the monthly plan, an annual checkup is $250 per year. Since you own your site, every plan is optional. You’re never stuck with us if you want to move your hosting elsewhere.

Do you manage my Google Business Profile and reviews?
Yes, that’s part of our Visibility & Reputation service. We keep your listings accurate and help you get reviews and respond to them regularly.
Can you add things like booking forms or online ordering?
Yes. If it’s a custom feature your site needs, like a booking form, payment setup, or a CRM integration, we can scope and build it as a standalone project.
Do you do print materials too, like business cards or signage?
Yes. If it carries your name, it should look like your business. Cards, letterhead, signage, even shirts — we design print-ready files and can help you get them produced.
